The Napa/Sonoma Chapter is fortunate to be located in the heart of some of the world's best vineyards and wineries. This affords us the wonderful opportunity of bringing together experienced industry professionals, people new to the industry, and people from other walks of life with an intense interest in and appreciation of wine.

 

Where and how frequently do you meet?   The Napa/Sonoma Chapter holds events approximately every other month - held on Thursday evenings and alternating between Napa and Sonoma counties.  We generally meet in February, April, June, August, November and December - to give adequate time for winery professionals to get through harvest!            This year's events can be found on our Events page, along with a recap of past events. Event info can also be found on our blog Napa Sonoma WineSense What was your most successful event? Wine On America's Table - 2008:  In August of 2008, the Napa/Sonoma chapter held the Women for WineSense premiere of "Bottle Shock," which featured a number of members and community members as extras.  The evening began with a food/wine paired dinner  - featuring four wines from St. Francis and Kunde, followed by a raffle of movie memorabilia and off to the historic Sebastiani Theater for a packed house of film-wine lovers!   Number of members in your chapter? 250 Members; 65% Professional    Professional members can also join a Roundtable, which promotes professional development and networking.  Currently we have nine Roundtables ranging from Human Resources, Law,  Marketing and Winemaking.  Please check out our Roundtable page for more information.     Percent of Female and Male Members? 95% Female; 5% Male  ####
