Richmond, Virginia Chapter
The Richmond chapter was formed in June 2004.
We are committed to wine education and awareness. We welcome women who want to learn a little more about wine to those who would like to become a wine connoisseur.
Membership to Women for WineSense is open to all women and men. Annual membership includes discounted fees to monthly meetings. Our mission is to learn a little more about wine every month and have fun in the process!
The Richmond chapter meets monthly, typically on the last Monday of the month. We begin the meeting at 6:30 pm (registration starts at 6:00 pm); meetings generally last about an hour and a half.
We have a wine tasting every month and a short business meeting. We hold meetings in a variety of local restaurants and wine shops. We have our annual wine dinner in April and visit a Virginia winery every October.
