The NJ Chapter is excited to have DKR Imports presenting their wines of Umbria and Tuscany while we dine on a fabulous meal specially prepared at Il Castello Restaurant. The wines are produced by the Gritti family (famous for the beautiful Gritti Palace hotel in Venice.) Their wines are made to reflect the specific terroir of Umbria.

This is a night not to be missed.

Here is the menu for the evening:

Hot Antipasto - Baked clams, calamari, eggplant rollatini, stuffed mushrooms, spiedini romana

Gnocchi Bolognese or penne vodka

Mesclun Salad

Chicken Martinese: chicken breast dipped in shredded Rigiano di Parmigiano cheese served with artichoke hearts in a white wine lemon sauce

Broiled salmon with capers in a white wine sauce

Veal Voldostano: veal stuffed with prosciutto, spinach and fontina cheese in a cognac mushroom sauce

Dessert choice of Tiramisu or cheese cake

Coffee, espresso or cappuccino
