The Seattle Chapter of Women For WineSense Invites You To

A SUMMER EVENING AT SWEET BASIL'S SCHOOL OF COOKING

with

TIM BLUE OF ADAMS BENCH

Thursday, August 14th, 2014

at 6:30pm

Tim Blue and Erica Blue's Adams Bench debuted in 2005 with their first vintage. Tim, an attorney, and Erica, a physician, had found the perfect spot for this labor of love in a beautiful property above the Hollywood Hill winery area in Woodinville. A newly expanded tasting room - originally a barn - makes guest feel welcome with a fireplace, a lovely view, and a tasting of their award-winning Cabernet Sauvignons and Cabernet Blends. Tim and Erica's wines have a stellar reputation, and have been praised by Wine Spectator, The Wine Advocate, and more, with their wines very often earning ratings well above 90 points. Their fruit is hand picked, whole berry fermented, and bottled without filtration, and they feel treating the young wine with respect shows through when the wines are released.

The setting for this event is Sweet Basil's School of Cooking, where our own Jeanne Judd and Diana Clay are very busy teaching the art of cooking in a beautiful,  terraced garden setting.  With a koi pond, herb beds, a cozy gazebo, and a canopy of trees, it is always the perfect place to unwind and relax before we indulge in the fabulous dinner the ladies prepare for us each year. If you haven't had a chance to experience this annual event before, you don't know what you are missing!
