Amanda Carder

With more than 15 years experience in the wine industry, Amanda is a Consulting DTC Director and Hospitality Specialist that focuses on small production high-end wine brands. But it hasn’t been all things wine in Amanda’s career. After graduating with a BS in Geology from Chico State, she worked as a Geologist, then as an Inspector for a Civil Engineering firm, a Personal Trainer, and even a Tour Guide. Amanda is passionate about networking and promoting other industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. Newer to Women for WineSense, Amanda is thrilled to bring an open mind and collaborative spirit to the organization.

Pina Carino, CFP®, CRPC®
Pina is First Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in Napa. Pina focuses on the development and maintenance of prudent investment strategies and has been offering a wide range of wealth planning and portfolio strategies to retirees, individuals, affluent families, corporate executives and businesses for over 25 years. Pina also focuses on assisting domestic partners and LGBTQ clients. Her community involvement includes Cope Family Center, LGBTQ Connection Napa, Sons of Italy, Napa School of Music, Lambda Legal, Human Rights Campaign, Alzheimer’s Association, and the Humane Society. 


Michell Ruggirello

She is owner of Trellis Accounting Services, Inc., a company providing finance and accounting consulting services to clients in the wine industry. Prior to creating her company in 2017, Michell was employed with Vintage Wine Estates, Inc. for the previous 17 years, most recently in a VP Finance role. Michell has experience in many aspects of operational accounting, M&A, financial reporting and budgeting. Michell is dedicated to managing results against the plan and maintaining financial discipline for Women for WineSense.


Brandi Brown

Brandi is a Partner at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP and head of the firm's wine industry group. Brandi is well versed in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private securities offerings, leveraged buy-outs, and general corporate counseling of public and private companies. She represents a diverse group of clients, including private equity funds, privately held companies, individual investors, and international public companies, in a wide range of complex transactions.

Hillary Silva

Hillary Silva is a training and communications manager with vintrace,  a wine production software based in Sonoma, CA. Hillary’s passion for winemaking sparked while at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She has several years experience in the wine industry including working in tasting rooms and taking part in multiple harvests around the world. Hillary has volunteered at many wine festivals, which has taught her the intricacies of how to market wine differently to grab the public’s eye. She is passionate about exploring new wines in new regions and enjoying the differences discovered. 

Marketing Director

Anne Girvin

Anne Girvin is a marketing and communications specialist, writer, and yoga instructor living in Napa Valley. Through private consulting and Studio 707 - a creative communications firm based in Napa - Anne works with clients to develop and execute their strategic marketing and PR plans. Previously, Anne was the head of marketing for The Culinary Institute of America’s (CIA) west coast campus. As part of the opening team for The CIA at Copia - the institute’s first consumer-facing brick-and-mortar business - she developed the strategic marketing vision and contributed to building essential programming for the facility. Anne takes pride in advocating for and uplifting women and female entrepreneurs.

Pam Novak

Passionate about the wine industry, Pam Novak brings over 20 years of industry experience to the group. She is currently the Director of Marketing, Lifestyle Brands at C. Mondavi & Family and first level Sommelier, Court of Master Sommeliers America. For the last five years at CMF, she has been marketing several brands and was responsible for launch of Flat Top Hills wines in 2019 and the repositioning of flagship brand, CK Mondavi and Family in 2017 which has been awarded the “Growth Brand” Award in 2018, 2019, 2020 by the Beverage Information Group.

Imane Hanine

A first-generation New York City native, Imane is the Brand Ambassador for Hudson Ranch & Vineyards with over 15 years of experience in food & beverage service and management in notable restaurants. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Geography & Urban Studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. Upon graduating, she worked at Fair Food, a nonprofit that supported local farmers by connecting them to the Philadelphia grocery and restaurant marketplace. Her exposure to farmers, producers, chefs, and sommeliers inspired her pursuit of a career that strengthens the educational bonds between service and production.

Tyler Kyle

Tyler Kyle is a wine educator, translator, and yoga instructor.  She teaches wine and language classes in both English and Spanish throughout the Napa Valley and online.  She most recently passed her Master-Level Champagne exam in Paris through the Wine Scholar Guild.  She holds her WSET3 certification, is a French Wine Scholar, American Wine Scholar, Certified Specialist of Wine, and Italian Wine Professional.  Tyler is passionate about education, hospitality, and communication internationally and throughout the Napa Valley.
