Wine at America’s Table: Riesling Across America
“Wine at America’s Table” is an annual event where each chapter holds one event during the year where the focus is on how American wines and foods impact our daily life.
For 2019, Meghan Frank, General Manager of Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery and a lover of all wines “Riesling” will give us a tour of Rieslings from different American wine regions at the beautiful Dr. Frank winery on Keuka Lake.
We may be bias that the FLX makes the best Rieslings in the good old U.S. of A. but there are other American wine regions that may give us a run for our money. We will pair with these wines with “small bites” from Around the Corner Catering. Menu: Welcome wine of Champagne Plate #1 ~ Local Greens Tomato Cucumber Lemon ~ Shrimp and Tomato Cocktail Dijon Vinaigrette Basil Plate #2 ~ Beet Pickled Egg Golden Beet Pistachio ~Firm Polenta Olives Parmesan Cherry Tomato Plate #3 ~Seared Scallop Mango Basil Oil Chili ~Peach Brulee Melba Sauce Sweet Mascarpone Lemon
Join us for a fun night learning about the differences and similarities of Rieslings produced in other parts of America. At the end of the night YOU decide what wine region is producing the best Rieslings.
Note that you will be charged a small fee when a credit card is used as payment for a non-member to attend our event. This fee will appear as a separate line on your credit card statement.
