Back to the Glass: Riedel Glassware
Join us for a very special event for our members that you don't want to miss!
Does the wine glass make a difference when you are drinking a glass of wine? Yes, surprisingly it does! The glass that you drink wine from can either make or break your wine tasting experience. Join us as we hold a joint FLX and ROC “members only” special event with Jason Chernik from Riedel who is our educator for the evening as we taste wines in glasses specifically designed for each varietal.
The cost for this event will include your purchase of Riedel’s four glass tasting set of their newest line of glassware, Performance. This set of glasses (retail price $118) will be used to taste the different wines during the event. YOU will make the decision on whether the glass makes or breaks how you like the wine. At the end of the evening you will take the set of wineglasses home with you.
If you purchase a ticket to this event we highly recommend that you eat something before you arrive. You will not receive anything to eat until the tasting portion of the event is completed since consuming food will negatively impact how the wines and glassware work together. Once the tasting is completed, the NY Kitchen will provide each person with plate of “small bites”. Everyone will have the chance to mingle and finish tasting their wines. Remember the focus of this event is the glassware and the wine NOT the food.
Seating for this event is limited so if you would like to attend register we recommend that you register as soon as you read this email.
