As we all know, COVID has affected every aspect of our lives. We will be talking with a restaurateur, winery, and liquor store to find out how this pandemic has impacted their businesses. We will be looking at what the industry was, where we are today, and where we hope to be in the near future. Joining us are, Liz Castner and Sarah Eighmey from Anthony Road Wine Company, Kyle Knapton from Water Street Wine & Spirits, and Amanda Rago from Parker's Grille and Tap House.

Kyle - Water Street Wine & Spirits
Kyle is the Assistant Manager of Water Street Wines & Spirits in Penn Yan, where he teaches classes designed to expand his customers' wine knowledge. He is a former teacher himself and is also WSET - 3 certified. Kyle is going to talk to us about the changes, good and bad, in the retail aspect of FLX wines.

Amanda - Parker's Grille & Tap House
Amanda is the General Manager for Parker’s Grille Inc., a local restaurant group that includes Halsey’s Restaurant in Geneva, 84 Fall Bar and Kitchen in Seneca Falls, and five Parker’s Grille & Tap locations throughout the Finger Lakes. Amanda started in the hospitality industry nineteen years ago as a line cook in a local restaurant. She has since worked in multiple positions in marketing, sales, customer service, banquets, and restaurant management - previously holding positions at Del Lago Resort and Casino, Bristol Harbour, and The Rochester Riverside Hotel.She lives in Geneva with her husband and two young boys and is a proud new member of Women For WineSense.

Sarah & Liz - Anthony Road Wine Company
Sarah and Liz are sisters and owners at Anthony Road Wine Company. Sarah, the General Manager, grew up on Anthony Road, she left for school, adventures, and careers elsewhere. In 2013 she left her profession as a registered dietitian to work full time in the family business. Sarah and her husband Mike have 4 children and live in Geneva, NY. Running has been and continues to be a lifelong passion, racing in all distances and terrains since the age of 13. Liz returned to the winery in July 2013 as Tasting Room Manager after taking time off to raise kids, chickens, ducks, and a very weedy garden. She & her husband, Sam, live on Keuka Lake's east side, upon the hillside with their 4 children.
