Have you ever wondered what goes into planning a Women For WineSense event? The Rochester Chapter of Women For WineSense has put together successful events each and every month for over twenty years.
We have been asked so many questions over the years: How do we pick the venues? What goes into choosing the menu? What makes a wine fit for the event?
The Board of the Rochester Chapter of Women For WineSense would like to raise the curtain and share our tips and tricks for creating unique and special events month after month. It's like wedding season year-round!
Our event will take place on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Italian American Community Center. We will taste amazing wine, share a delicious meal and discuss the process of putting together an event from top to bottom. We want to share with you the how and the why we do what we do. We can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Bottle Pull!
Women For WineSense believes that wine enhances and enriches everyday life. The organization provides women and men with unbiased information about the cultural heritage, social and health effects of moderate wine consumption as part of a healthy lifestyle. WWS is committed to offering educational programs and networking opportunities to wine enthusiasts and industry professionals.
The Rochester Chapter formed annual scholarship and grant programs with the intent of providing support to an eligible chapter member for educational advancement in the field of wine education. It is awarded based on an applicant’s willingness to pursue an educational program of their own design with the goal of giving back to the chapter by sharing the knowledge obtained during that process.
At our January event we will be conducting a bottle pull that helps fund our scholarship and grant programs.
You will have an opportunity to buy a “blind” bottle at this event, so be sure to bring cash or your checkbook to join in the fun!
