Join the Women For WineSense FLX Chapter to celebrate Finger Lakes Wine Month this August!
Our guest speaker Kyle Pallischeck, Executive Director of the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance and 2021 co-recipient of our chapter's scholarship, is excited to share her perspective on everything from what she views as the "wine iceberg," what the heck macro, meso and microclimates mean for Finger Lakes wine, her love for the region and more. Chef Samantha Buyskes, owner and chef of Simply Red Catering, will create a menu using locally produced foods, cooked on her fire table which will pair beautifully with the wines. This event will be held outside at Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyards, in the heart of the Finger Lakes and a new venue for us.
About Kyle
A Finger Lakes native with over a decade committed to the local wine industry, Kyle Anne Pallischeck was named the executive director for the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance in January 2021. Her broad industry experience spans hospitality and brand management, sales, marketing, and beverage education. After earning degrees in Hospitality Management and Interior Design, Kyle went on to earn her Sommelier Certification via the Court of Master Sommeliers, the WSET3 Advanced Certificate, and is a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators. She was a founding board member of the Finger Lakes Chapter of Women For WineSense and is a member of the Society of Wine Educators. Kyle lives in Penn Yan, NY with her rescue staffy, Maverick. When they’re not visiting wineries or hiking they likely can be found on the waters of Keuka Lake.
