We are so thrilled to welcome Sommelier Dawn Smith to our Women For WineSense holiday event! She is a trained chef, and a culinary instructor, Dawn began taking wine classes, and her career path went a different direction. Dawn has earned certifications from the International Sommelier Guild, the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and is an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She has an incredible resumé, including positions at some of the best Seattle area restaurants: Assistant Wine Director at Canlis, Wine Director for Heavy Restaurant Group's Bellevue Purple Café & Wine Bar and Barrio Restaurant, and Wine Director and General Manager at Café Juanita. Dawn is now a Sommelier at Bellevue's John Howie Steak, guiding diners through their incredible wine list. She will join us and share her expertise on Champagne - just in time for the holidays!
Also joining us will be Karen Binder of Madison Park Café Catering and Binder's Bottles, her retail wine business. Karen owned the charming Madison Park Café for over 30 years, and she now focuses on catering and doing private wine tastings and consultations for clients who want the best pairings for their events. Karen catered our October 2016 Pairing Wine and Herbs event, impressing us all with her what she created. Her menu for this event will pair perfectly with the Champagnes Dawn and Karen - two bubble

Also joining us will be John Griffin from Grape Expectations Distributors to help describe the wines we'll be enjoying.
On the piano will be Musician Nick Baker, putting us in the holiday mood with some seasonal tunes!

After that time your space will be released. Please contact us with questions about the event, the website or method of payment at 425.882.1621.
This event is nonrefundable after November 1st. All refunds will be made by check less a $5.00 service fee.
