Women for Winesense Educational Wine Dinner

Wine Ratings: What do they Mean?

With all of the point rating systems for wine out there, it can be confusing as to what it all means. Does a higher point score mean it is a better wine? Who is scoring those wines? What are they basing their judgments on? Come and join us as we make sense of it all, while enjoying some great food and wine at the same time. Tavern 58 is a Rochester treasure, and we will be dining at their new facility at Center City. The chef is going to put together a fabulous menu especially for us to enjoy alongside some wines that have garnered high scores from critics worldwide. We will put their palates to the test and see if we agree! Expect some great tastes, some geeky wine notes from Holly, and a whole lot of fun as we once again fine tune our collective wine savvy. See you there!

Registration begins at 6:00 PM.

Capacity is limited. Registration closes on July 18th.

If you require a vegetarian meal, please send a request to wwsrochesterinfo@yahoo.com by July 18th. A vegetarian request is for the full meal; we are unable to accommodate substitutions.

Payment is required in advance by credit card or check and is non-refundable.

If paying by check, payment should be payable to 'WWS' and sent to WWS Rochester, c/o Amanda Mari, 43 Cambric Circle, Pittsford, NY 14534. Checks MUST BE RECEIVED by Monday, July 21st, 2014. If payment is not received by this date, your registration may be cancelled.
