Julie Lumgair is a noted consulting and hands-on luxury tier winemaker for J. Moss and other wineries and a fifth generation family farmer. Her wines span fourteen vintages and 25 varietals from nine of Napa Valley’s world class AVAs, Italy and Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, Chalk Hill, Knights Valley and Alexander Valley AVAs. Her calling cards are consistently producing wines that garner acclaim, distinctly farming and expressing vineyards, excellence in operations and a passionate attention to customer delight and lasting relationships.
Her wine industry track record is complimented by 15 prior years as a Fortune 500 brand management senior executive and new products specialist in leading food and oral care consumer packaged goods.
She is a contributing writer, educational speaker, wine judge for two publications and serves on the IQ (Innovation + Quality) Conference Advisory Board, the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium Program Committee and Chairs the Napa / Sonoma Winemaking & Viticultural Roundtable of Women for Winesense. She is active in Napa Valley Vintners and a past board member of Napa Valley Wine Technical Group.
Erin Kirschenmann is the managing editor for Wine Business Monthly and has been with the company since 2012. In addition to production responsibilities for the monthly trade magazine, she writes about business, technology, sales and marketing, and also oversees content and programming for WBM's eight conferences. She speaks on industry trends at numerous conferences, including the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium and the World Bulk Wine Exhibition, and guest lectures on wine, media and public relations. Erin has served as a judge in the international Concours Mondial de Bruxelles wine competition since 2016 and at numerous regional competitions. Passionate about the wine industry, Pam Novak brings over 20 years of industry experience to the group. She is currently the Director of Marketing, Lifestyle Brands at C. Mondavi & Family and first level Sommelier, Court of Master Sommeliers America. For the last five years at CMF, she has been marketing several brands and was responsible for launch of Flat Top Hills wines in 2019 and the repositioning of flagship brand, CK Mondavi and Family in 2017 which has been awarded the “Growth Brand” Award in 2018, 2019, 2020 by the Beverage Information Group.
Tyler Kyle is a wine educator, Spanish translator, and yoga instructor. She teaches wine and language classes in both English and Spanish throughout the Napa Valley and online. She most recently passed her Master-Level Champagne exam in Paris through the Wine Scholar Guild. She holds her WSET3 certification, is a French Wine Scholar, American Wine Scholar, Certified Specialist of Wine, and Italian Wine Professional. Tyler is passionate about education, hospitality, and communication internationally and throughout the Napa Valley.
