DAL: Terroir

Terroir

"Terroir", French for soil. A simple word brought to life through wine. By definition, terroir is the complete natural environment in which a wine is produced including factors such as soil, topography and climate. These factors have significant impact on the vines, grapes and the finished product.

Join us Monday, April 15 at 6:30 pm, as Tom Gallagher, owner of The Wine Authority, introduces us to terroir. He will guide us through a tasting of four whites and four reds so we can explore and compare the influence of terroir on the wines. Food will be provided.
